Mumbai High Court Friday issued suo-muto contempt notices against actress Manisha Koirala and producer Sashilal Nair for their alleged conduct in approaching extra constitutional authorities to resolve their dispute over objectionable scenes in Hindi film “Ek Choti Si Love Story”, PTI reports from Mumbai. The contempt notices were issued by Justices R. M. Lodha and Dilip Bhosale.
Nair was pulled up for contempt for arranging to screen the film specially for Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray while Manisha was found guilty for going to Thackaery to resolve the dispute. The notices are made returnable on October 5.
