The Supreme Court has cancelled the decision of the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) warning Jeevan Ram Bhattarai, Social Welfare Council Deputy Director, for irregularities in publishing the special issue of the social services bulletin on the Social Service Day 2054 stating that it is illegal, RSS reported.

A two-member bench of Supreme Court Justices-Hari Prasad Sharma and Gopal Prasad Khatri had delivered the judgement.

Advocate Mithilesh Kumar Singh had discussed on behalf of petitioner Bhattarai and Joint Attorney Raj Narayan Pathak on behalf of Women and Social Welfare.
