King Gyanendra in a message to Indian President Abdul Kalam Wednesday said he was shocked by the “dastardly ” terror attack at a temple in Gandhinagar killing nearly two dozen Hindus Tuesday.
“Nepal supports India’s fight against terrorism,” he said in a condolence message to the government and the families of those killed. “Nepal denounces all forms of terrorism,” he said.
The King called on all nations to unite in a fight against terrorism. Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba sent a separate message to his Indian counterpart Atal Bihari Vajpayee denouncing the Gujarat attack.
