The cabinet meeting held Wednesday extended the term of the Judicial Inquiry Commission on Property (JICP) by six months.

The Commission headed by Bhairav Nath Lamsal had apprised the cabinet that it would need six

additional months before completing its report.

Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba extended the term of the Commission though differences had surfaced among the cabinet members regarding the issue.
