A six member team of the International Press Institute (IPI) arrived in Nepal for a four day visit to assess press freedoms in the kingdom, IPI-Nepal said.
The delegation consisting of representatives from Austria, Japan, Korea, Switzerland, Norway and Turkey is led by IPI Director Johanne P. Fritz.
The delegation will meet Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, other government leaders, opposition leaders, members of the National Human Rights Commission, lawyers and journalists to prepare a report.
