The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has initiated investigation into complaints alleging that Devendra Wagle, son of Minister for Physical Planning and Works Chiranjibi Wagle had amassed property and cash beyond his earning sources.

Media reports had stated some days back that the junior Wagle had nearly 10 million rupees in cash in different banks and land worth millions of rupees in Chitwan and Thamel of the capital city.

The Minister however has denounced the reports of being baseless and an attempt to assassinate his character. nepalnews.com am Sept 7
