NA delegation returns home

Kathmandu Aug. 23 (RSS):   The five-member delegation of the National Assembly remote area committee led by MP Krishna Lal Thakali returned home Tuesday after completing a week-long visit to the People’s Republic of China at the invitation of the committee concerning nationalities of the Chinese National Congress.

The delegation began its journey from Shanghai and visited Beijing and Chhangdu (Szechwan) and met the Chinese authorities there.

At all the places, the Nepalese and the Chinese side held discussions on enhancing mutual goodwill, increasing exchange programmes and further deepening the friendly ties initiated by the leaders of both the countries.

The delegation comprised MP Balaram Ghartimagar, Bir Bahadur Singh, Komal Bahadur Ghale and committee secretary Himlal Subedi.
