Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba Monday unfurled the national flag and the flag of the Bal Sanghathan to observe the 74th birthday of Queen Mother Ratna and the 37th Children’s Day in the capital.
Deuba distributed sweets to children on the occasion. “The patronage of the Queen Mother to the Sanghathan has been a source of inspiration. It is the responsibility of all to work for the welfare of children,” he said.
Deuba distributed appreciation letters to Nepali and foreign individuals and organizations that have helped the Sanghathan. The function was held at the Bal Mandir.
