US Embassy announces a Rs.500,000 reward

KATHMANDU: The U.S. Embassy Thursday announced a Rs.500,000 reward for persons with information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the December 15 murder of Ramesh Manandhar, a Nepali security guard employed by the US government, an embassy announcement said.

“Reward amounts will be distributed based on the accuracy and usefulness of the information given,” the Embassy said. The information will be strictly confidential, the Embassy said.
