KATHMANDU: The NEPSE index slipped 6.41 points at the end of five-day trading Friday for the third consecutive week. Trading opened at 271.43 points Monday and closed at 277.84 points Friday. The index of commercial banks dipped 10.33 points during the week.
Commercial bank shares accounted for 82.61 percent of the total trade. Altogether 42,146 shares worth Rs.14.95 million were traded in 881 transactions.
Nepal Bangladesh Bank led the market with shares valued at Rs.5.73 million sold after announcement the Bank will issue bonus shares.
