Nepal and India agreed to extend the bilateral trade treaty for the three months until March 5, Ministry of Industries, Commerce and Supplies said. Both the governments exchanged the letter to this effect Monday, the Ministry said.

Nepal-India Trade Treaty was to expire on December 6. The treaty has not been renewed as talks between the two nations are going on following India’s concerns on some provisions of the treaty.
