KATHMANDU: Mrs. Shahana Pradhan, chairperson of Nepal Communist Party (ML) underwent a heart bypass surgery at Apollo Hospital in New Delhi Friday, the party said. She flew to the Indian capital this week for further medical treatment after falling ill.

The party thanked the government for bearing all her medical expenses.
