KATHMANDU: Maoists overnight hacked to death an activist of the ruling Nepali Congress Party at Hansapur village in Gorkha district, police said. Maoists dragged the former village chief out of his home and killed him
while injuring his wife.

Rebels also murdered school teacher Shiva Adhikari of the same village, police said.
