Minister for Information and Communications Ramesh Nath Pandey said Sunday that the government would not accept foreign investment in the print media but he declined to comment on the charges filed against “The Himalayan Times” that it was being run under foreign investment.

“The concerned authority is investigating into the matter and it would not be proper to comment before the probe is completed,” Pandey told the face-to-face programme organized by the Reporters’ Club in Morang.

He said a team would be formed to assess the problems besetting the journalism sector and thereby provide practicable solutions.
