Kathmandu, June 29: Two Maoists were killed in an attack on a police post at  Khilatpur in Dang Tuesday, rebel sources said.

Insurgents released eight inured  policemen who surrendered in an encounter in which two other policemen were  killed, the rebels said.

Maoists captured 36 rifles, other weapons, a  communication set and 2,626 bullets after over-running the outpost, rebels said.
