Kathmandu, June 20: Queen Komal started walking Tuesday after making satisfactory progress from injuries sustained in a carnage at the Narayanhiti Royal Palace June 1 killing or injuring 14 members of the royal family and relatives, the latest medical bulletin released by the Palace said Wednesday.
The Queen sustained injuries of both lungs and four ribs in the shoot-out started by Crown Prince Dipendra killing King Birendra and Queen Aishwarya, a probe report said. Princess Shoba Shahi, Kumar Gurakh SJB Rana and Ketaki Chester are also recovering at the Birendra Military Hospital.
