Nepali and Indian officials Thursday started the first joint inspection of the Rasiyabal Khudlotan dam and the adjoining areas in Nepal and India in Rupandhai, Nepali officials said.

A joint team was formed one year ago. Nepal says the unilateral construction of the dam in India is inundating land in Nepal. The team will submit a report to prevent inundation during the monsoon season.
