A panel of astrologers fixed June 13 as the auspicious day to haul the Rato Machindranath from Iti to Jawalakhel, an announcement said. Astrologers Kirti Bharat Joshi, Bhuwan Mangal Joshi, Kirti Kiran Joshi and Purna Mangal Joshi huddled at Mani Mandap in Mangal Bazzar and fixed the auspicious date.

The bhoto or vest will be displayed the same day from the chariot in the presence of King Gyanendra and Queen Komal.
