A man-eater tiger was killed after killing his fifth victim at Ayaodhayapuri in Madi recently, an official of the King Mahendra Trust for Nature Conservation said Tuesday. It was not known when the tiger was killed.
The male tiger killed five persons in seven days, the official said. Government officials gave the shooting orders to kill the man-eater even though it is on the protected list of endangered animals in Nepal. The tiger came out of the Royal Nepal Chitwan National Park.
