Prof. Sridhar K. Khatri has been appointed Executive Director of the Institute of Foreign Affairs, an announcement said. Khatri is a foreign affairs analyst.  He succeeds the Institute’s first Executive Director Prof. Mohan Lohini.

CIAA instructs govt. to take action against 16 corrupt officials

The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA), a high level anti-corruption body, has sent a written instruction to the government to take action against 16 officials on the charge of

corruption and abuse of authority.

They include high-ranking civil servants and employees of different public corporations. Similarly, CIAA has asked the government to warn 27 officials, as they were found indirectly involved in irregularities.

The high-level anti-corruption watchdog has also asked the government not to appoint 27 people in any public position in the future.
