The Japanese embassy Monday gave the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) a $45,490 grant equivalent to Rs.3.45 million to establish a human resource and development centre, an announcement said.

“Entrepreneurship and quality service are essential for the sound development of the private sector,” outgoing Japanese Ambassador Mitsuaki Kojima said.

FNCCI President Rabi Bhakta Shrestha and Kojima signed the grant agreement.
