Indian assistance for blood transfusion centre

The government of India has extended assistance of Nrs 1.37 million for a Blood Transfusion Service Centre building in Lahan, Siraha, according to a press statement of the Kathmandu based Indian embassy.

The project will be executed by the District Development Committee, Siraha. An oversight committee consisting of the Chairman of Nepal Red Cross Society, Lahan, member of the Management Committee, two Social Workers and the district health officer of Siraha District will oversee the project and supervise the grant assistance.
