KATHMANDU: The Nepal Telecommunications Corporation (NTC) has incurred a Rs.250 million loss in damages to repeater stations by Maoist strikes, Communications Minister Jayaprakash Prasad Gupta said Friday.
Telecommunication links in nine of the kingdom’s 75 administrative districts have been disrupted, he said. The government is linking those districts through costlier satellite communications, he said.
