All six members of a family were buried alive in their sleep by a landslide triggered by heavy rains at a village in Kaski district Saturday, local officials said.

All the bodies have been recovered from the rubble at Arbabiujaya. The landslide buried the six persons at 2 AM Saturday; the downpour started 5 PM Friday.

The mudslide badly damaged a road.
