Dr. Dilli Raman Regmi cremated

Dr. Dilli Raman Regmi was cremated with full state honours at the Pashupati Aryaghat Friday evening.

His only son Madan Regmi lit the funeral pyre in the presence of Prime MInister Sher Bahadur Deuba. Dr. Regmi, 85, died Wednesday.

Dr. Regmi was a senior politician and a historian. He is survived by a wife, a son and three daughters. King Gyanendra has condoled Dr.Regmi’s death.
