Necon Air Ltd. is  resuming suspended flights to Varanasi from Kathmandu from August 1, the private airline said. The airline will operate thrice wekly flights to the holy city on Tuesdays, Thursday and Saturdays.

Flights were suspended August last after a decline in passengers. Necon also flies to Patna. The company  plans to begin flights to Lucknow and Kolkata from Kathmandu later this year. nepalnews.com br July 31Polish national arrested for trafficking

A Polish national was arrested Tuesday before boarding a flight for Bangkok with 10 kgs of illegal hashish concealed in the false bottom of his suitcase, police said.

Police identified him as Piotr Krzestof Obrebski. Obrebski was bound for Holland via Bangkok, police said.
