Landlady in the Samakhusi murder case held for interrogation

The police have taken into custody Geeta Khadka, the landlady in the Samakhusi murder case for interrogation after her previous statement to the police that she did not know the murderers but had only faced them once or twice when they approached to rent her house was challenged.

The police took Khadka under custody after Agyashree Shrestha, a six-year old told in her statement that she had seen the murderers visiting the house last week and asking money from Geeta. According to the Agyashree, the daughter of the victims Arjun Srestha and Anjali Shrestha, the murderers had visited the house two times in the past and had asked money from the landlady.

While her parents were hacked to death by unidentified men, Agyashree managed to survive by hiding in the bathroom. The murder took place six days back.
