France gives food aid

France gave Nepal a 4,000 tonne soft wheat grant Monday. Seventy-five percent of the proceeds from the sale will be invested in projects designed to strengthen food security while 25 percent will be used for internal transport.

Finance Secretary Dr.Bimal Koirala and Ambassador Claude Ambrosini signed

the grant agreement Tuesday.
