Workers Thursday frantically worked to reopen two road links between the capital and the rest of the county after landslides at 2AM blocked vehicular traffic at Naubishe just beyond Thankot, officials of the Department of Roads said.
Three bulldozers and scores of workers have been pressed into action to reopen the outlet sometime Thursday, officials said. Hundreds of travelers and transport trucks have been stranded on both sides Naubishe by the 100 meter-wide mudslide triggered by constant monsoon rains.
