Former Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Girija Prasad Koirala told party workers in Morang Wednesday that the issue about foging unity with the break away Nepali Congress (democratic) was not being comtemplated at all.
“I appealed for forging unity two times but as the Congress led by Deuba did not respond, the talk about unity is no longer there,” Koirala told newsmen at his residence in Biratnagar.
Koirala dismissed rumours that he had met with founder member and former President of Nepali Congress Krishna Prasad Bhattarai with the view to hold talks on uniting the party.
