The third International Conference entitled ‘Innovative Applications of Information Technology for the Developing World’ will kick off on December 10 in Kathmandu.

Delegates from all over the world will participate in the three-day long conference.

The conference aims to bring the researchers of computer science closer to practical applications and deals with topics which have immediate practical benefits for the developing countries.

Some of the speakers of the program include Dharma Agrawal from the University of Cincinnati, USA, Kentaro Toyama, director of Microsoft Research India, Tomio Hirata from Nagoya University, Japan, Mike Reed, director of the United Nations University in Macau, China and Kuldeep K Pallwal from Griffiths University, Australia.
