Kathmandu, April 5: Helmut Kutin, President, SOS Children’s Village International, is arriving on 7th April for 10 days visit to Nepal.

During his 10-day visit to Nepal, he will be visiting Pokhara, Surkhet and Itahari and observe SOS Children’s Villages and other SOS projects in different parts of the country. There are seven SOS Children’s Villages, 10 SOS Youth Facilities, eight  SOS Hermann Gmeiner Schools, 2 SOS Vocational Training Centres, 5 SOS Hermann Gmeiner Social Centre for Mother and Child and 1 SOS Hermann Gmeiner Medical Centre in Nepal which are mainly supported by SOS Children Village International.

He will be inspecting them to ascertain as to whether these projects are run in the best possible manner.

The President of SOS Children’s Village International has been conferred with Bikhyat Trishkti Patta by His Majesty the King on the auspicious occasion of His Majesty’s 55th birthday.
