Chairman of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party Pashupati Shumser Rana has reiterated that formation of an all-party government is the only option to resolve the problems dogging the country.
Speaking at an interaction at the Reporters’ Club today RPP Chairman Rana said that RPP has decided to go to the people with its agenda that multiparty democracy and constitutional monarchy are the basis of the country.
He pointed out the need of unity among all constitutional forces for the negotiated settlement of the Maoist insurgency.
He said that the royal government’s activities are responsible to widen gap between the monarchy and the political parties.
Stating that the government failed to provide relief to the people, he added that all party government is a must to resolve all the problems dogging the country.
“RPP is even ready to amend the present constitution for resolving the problems related to indigenous people and other forms of discrimination but the political outlet could be found from the ambit of this constitution,” Rana added.
Rana added that the central working committee meeting of the party that concluded on Monday has resolved all the intra-party disputes and the meeting also suspended the demand of some central committee member for a Special Convention.
He also made it clear that unlike other political parties RPP will hold mass meetings and other programs to pressurize all to accept RPP’s stance that constitutional monarchy and multiparty democracy are essential for the country.
