Twelve members of the Upper House of Parliament handed a letter to Prime Minister Sher Bahadur demanding the reactivation of the Upper House.

According to the delegates, the Prime Minister was positive on their demand. He however, asked them to wait until the expansion of government.

The Upper House has been inactive for the last two years.

The members requested Deuba to form an all-party government and create an appropriate environment to hold talks with the rebels and settle the crisis in the country.
