One person was killed and three others seriously injured when a bus ran over a landmine planted by Maoists on a highway at Beltar of Melamchi VDC in Sindhupalchowk Saturday afternoon.

Reports from Sindhupalchowk said Govind Khanal, 25, was killed on the spot. He was a milk seller.  Three injured persons have been admitted to hospital for treatment, reports added.
