Nabil Three star Club (NTSC) beat Rani-Pokhari Corner Team (RCT) 2-0 to top the league with 30 points while Armed Police Force (APF) was victorious 1-0 against Boudha FC in the Martyrs’ Memorial “A” Division San Miguel League football matches played at Dashrath stadium today.

In the match between NTSC and RCT, Pradeep Maharjan scored early in the 8th minute capitalizing off the cross of Anil Gurung while Bijaya Gurung netted another in the 74th minute to seal a 2-0 victory.

RCT could have leveled the score in the 46th minute through Rishi Rai but unfortunately his shot hit the top bar while super-sub Rajan Gauchan wasted another goal scoring chance in the 53rd minute.

NTSC also created many goal scoring chances, but their lack of finishing was the chief factor for not netting more goals.

In the match played earlier, APF beat Boudha FC 1-0 for a consecutive win with Ganesh Lawati’s long range shot in the 70th minute. Boudha pressed hard for an equalizing goal but had to settle for a loss. APF could have doubled the tally, but lady luck did not favour them when skipper Jibesh Pandey’s shot hit the top bar in 90+2 minutes.
