Nepal’s prestige on the rise: FM Pandey

Foreign Minister (FM) Ramesh Nath Pandey has said that Nepal’s prestige has been continuously rising in the international community, so all the countrymen should make sincere efforts towards further enhancing the glory of the country.

Talking to journalists at the Tribhuvan International Airport before departing for New Delhi in connection with his official visit to Russia and Pakistan Saturday, FM Pandey informed that ministerial level visit to Moscow was taking place after 30 years.

Stating that Russia and Pakistan are very close friends of Nepal and these countries have been extending important assistance and goodwill to Nepal in its development endeavors, he said in course of the visit he would be exchanging views with senior officials of these countries on various topics on enhancing bilateral ties, according to The Rising Nepal.

“To work honestly by thinking of the overall good of the country is the need of the hour”, the paper quoted FM Pandey as saying.

Under-secretary duo at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Yadav Khanal and Shankar Bairagi are accompanying FM Pandey in the visit.
