Nepal, US modify anti-corruption pact

The governments of Nepal and the US have modified the agreement on anti-corruption and law enforcement between the two countries signed on February 2002.

According to a press statement sent by the American Center on Monday, the USA will provide grant assistance of USD 280,000 to Nepal for establishing and supporting a legal environment for prevention and prosecution of human trafficking.

The joint secretary at the Ministry of Finance, Madhav Prasad Ghimire and Janet Bogue, Charge d’ Affaires Embassy of the United States of America, signed the pact.
