Nepal, Kirgizstan discusses ties in water, energy

Kathmandu, May 16: A three-member delegation from Kirgizstan currently here at the invitation of the Water and Energy Commission met Minister for Water Resources Khum Bahadur Khadka recently.

On the occasion, Minister Khadka said exchange of visits between Nepal and Kirgizstan, two countries having similar geographical conditions and resources will be of great help in promoting mutual relations and cooperation.

Leader of the delegation Kydybek K. Beishekeev spoke of the need to promote cooperation between the two countries in water resources development and other technical fields.

Executive secretary at water and energy commission Vidya Nath Nepal was also present on the occasion.
