Suspected Maoists exploded a bomb in Birendranagar Municipality of Surkhet, the headquarters of mid-western region Wednesday morning.

According to the reports, the explosion at the office has partly damaged the building. Windows, furniture and official papers are reported destroyed.

No injuries have been reported in the explosion as the blast occurred at around 2 a.m. The Maoists had also planted bomb in the office building in November which was disposed by the security forces. nepalnews.com pd Dec 15 04
