Kathmandu, Nov.14: Maoist rebels Monday night set ablaze a police post at Khanibhanjyan in Okhaldunga while police were away on patrol, officials said. The police post was established only a few days ago.

Insurgents also attacked and destroyed a police post in Bacceak village in Gorkha district this week, police said.

Meanwhile, soldiers defused what turned out to be a fake bomb in front of the Bishal Bazzar entrance Monday afternoon hours after three bombs were set off by insurgents in the capital and Thimi injuring two persons.
