A long queue waited patiently at the Narayanhiti Royal Palace Wednesday morning to sign several visitor’s books placed at  the gate to congratulate and offer best wishes to the royal family on the birth

Tuesday of the Nava Yubaraj to Crown Prince Paras and Crown Princess Himani.

He is second in line of succession to the throne. The books will be placed at the gate for three days beginning Wednesday from 10 AM to 5 PM. Government declared Wednesday a public holiday to

celebrate the birth.

King Gyanendra and Crown Prince Paras were the only royal male survivors of the June 1 palace shoot-out last year.
