The number of Chinese tourists visiting Nepal is likely to go up following the arrangements made by the Chinese government relating to the recently made agreements concerned with China-Nepal tourism, the RSS reported.

The Chinese government during the visit of King Gyanendra issued permission to 450 more travel agents to operate Chinese tourism. The number of such permitted agents before was limited to 67.

Chinese tourists form only a negligible percentage of the total number of tourists visiting Nepal. But the number is expected to go up after the new management comes into effect.
