King Gyanendra Saturday offered pujas and prayers at temples in various districts of the far western region, media reports said.
The King offered prayers at Ugra Tara in Dandeldhura, Shaileshwori in Doti and other temples in Darchula and Baitadhi, the reports said. The King also inspected various places of the development region. Full details were not available.
The King began an unofficial visit of the region, the poorest in the country, by addressing a civic reception in Dhangadhi Friday; Queen Komal is accompanying the King. The King returned to Nepangunj Saturday after a flying visit to the districts of the development region.
