KATHMANDU: The newly appointed Indian Foreign Minister K. Natwar Singh, is to arrive in Kathmandu Friday for a three-day visit.
Political pundits and analysts view Natwar’s visit to Nepal as “meaningful” and is connected with the present political stalemate in the country.
Annapurna Post quoting Indo Asian News Service said Tuesday Singh’s visit comes at the invitation of caretaker Prime Minister Surya Bahadur Thapa.
Singh had recently said that water resources would be made the basis for consolidating the friendly relations between Nepal and India in future, according to The Himalayan Times.
