Indian police Wednesday extradited three more Maoists affiliated with the Madesh Mukti Morcha to Nepal at Raxaul Wednesday on the Nepal-Bihar border, Radio Nepal said quoting Nepal police Thursday.

They are currently being held by police, an announcement said. Those extradited are: Ram Ashraya, Chandeshwor Baitha and Ram Swarup Raya.

India has in the past extradited some junior Maoists to Nepal. But senior leaders Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Dr. Baburam Bhattarai are still thought to be hiding in India and directing rebel operations inside Nepal.
