International Friendship Club (IFC), Nepal Branch organized a 5 day tourism promotion program from Sep 29 to Oct 03 2005 in Kimje city of Korea through participation at the Kimje Horizon Festival (Rice cutting festival).
500,000 Koreans and foreigners had visited the stalls during the five-day long program.
According to a press statement issued by the IFC Nepal branch, the branch served 4 stalls: 1st stall – CD visual presentation of NTB; 2nd stall – Large banners (3mx2m) of the Himalayan mountains; 3rd stall- Handicraft shop and 4th stall – Nepali Food.
A world peace parade program was also organized on 2nd Oct.
The Peace Ambassadors from USA, Taiwan, Nepal, Vietnam, Korea, Romania, South Africa, Myanmar, France, and Germany delivered the world peace message in their native language on the same occasion.
