A Human rights cell headed by joint secretary Sushil SJB Rana began work at the Home Ministry Tuesday, an announcement said.

Other members of the cell are: Deputy Inspector General of Police Amar Singh Shah, Deputy Inspector General of Armed Police Force Gyanendra Raj and Deputy Chief of National Investigation Department Dhan Singh Karki, the Ministry said.

Similar  cells are being formed for the first time at the Civil and the Armed Police Forces.
