Kathmandu, Apr. 13 : His Majesty the King has, in accordance with the Royal Palace Service Regulations, designated military secretary Major General Vivek Kumar Shaha as acting chief of the Principal Military Secretariat effective from today.

Chief military secretary and honorary adc Lt. General Shanta Kumar Malla has retired on completion of his tenure.

This is stated in a notice issued today by the Principal Press Secretariat of His Majesty the King.
