Four crews and one passenger survived unhurt when a helicopter they were in crashed in Humla Tuesday morning, police and civil aviation authorities said.
The helicopter of Air Ananya, which was on charter flight to Humla, crashed near Darma village of Humla, a northern district bordering China, police said. The helicopter was chartered by Nepal Electricity Authority to carry electrical equipment from Surkhet.
Police said the rear part of the helicopter was damaged. The cause of the crash was not known. However, the investigation on the crash has begun, said Anil Manandhar of Ananya Air.
